Whether you’ve earned your negotiation smarts on the job, from books, or taking courses, we have a memorable experience for you. Sharpen your skills and gain vital personalized feedback.
After learning how to use the world’s most advanced negotiation sim game platform, you’ll be tackling real life negotiations. The Negotiation Experts will then share vital insights on your performance from your sim’s graphs. You can look forward to hearing feedback on your preparation and every offer you made.
Participants have praised the detailed feedback they gained, which brought to light their areas of strength and weakness, and what they should do to improve their deals.
eTournament Agenda
A week or two prior to Round 1, we’ll have a half hour together to ensure that your video and audio work, you can login to the sim game and setup your profile. Then you’ll get to practice using the sim’s features by playing a non-scored sim game.
Your sim game confidential instructions for our scored Round 1 negotiations will be released for you and your teammate to read.

Rules & Further Information
- Two negotiators per team is mandatory. If you don’t have a teammate, we will do our best to match you up.
- There will be a time limit, so it’s strongly recommended that you read your instructions and start your preparations before both rounds.
- Typically, each team will perform in the role of seller for one round and in the role of the buyer for the other round.
- At the start of each scored round, ~15 minutes will be allocated for team preparation.
- If a deal cannot be reached for the first negotiation, the two teams will be permitted to negotiate an alternative first negotiation sim. This must be completed before the second round.
- Teams will be permitted to continue to the second round irrespective of whether an agreement has been reached from the first round. However, to be eligible for the three leaderboard winner certificates, teams must agree on a deal in both rounds.
- Tutorial videos introducing the sim's features will be provided for you to watch in advance. In the first round, a negotiation expert will provide a quick overview of the sim’s features.
- A Negotiation Expert and one or two Producers will be available to answer your questions and provide best-practice advice during each round. At the end of both rounds, you will receive detailed analysis and feedback on your performance. A video of the feedback will be uploaded after each round.
- If you complete the eTournament and enrol in one of our three-day open enrolment programs, we will credit the full price of your eTournament against the price of your course. This means that you’ll get the eTournament for free.
