Updated: 29 Mar 2018

Las Vegas is covered in bright, towering architecture, mainly along the Las Vegas Strip, and is known for its 24-hour casinos. Businesses operate around the clock here and neon-signs light establishments up and down the Strip. Coming to Las Vegas to participate in one of our Contract Negotiating Training Workshops? We recommend making some space in your calendar to see as much of Las Vegas as possible. If you have any questions about things to do or see in the city, please ask your Negotiation Expert for suggestions. After each of our three training days together, your evenings will be free to explore the high-energy city to find out what everyone’s been talking about.

Las Vegas’ Attractions

Walking tours and people watching is a great way to spend some time in this energetic city. Head to the Bellagio to watch the signature dancing fountains, as 1,200 geysers erupt from the 8.5-acre lake in front of the resort. Consider booking ‘O’ at the Bellagio to see a mesmerizing and unforgettable acrobatic Cirque du Soleil performance. Many popular musical acts pass through the city, so check out what’s happening while you’re there and you might get to see a favorite musician. Fun fact: estimates suggest that around 500 couples tie the knot every day in Las Vegas.

If you’re looking for things to do outside of Las Vegas, consider taking a tour of Hoover Dam. The 726-foot-high dam offers quite a striking picture. You can walk onto the nearby bridge to view it, or go out on a boat on Lake Mead for a different perspective. Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area is just outside of the city, but it seems like a world away from Vegas. The desert area has no neon lights or high-rises, but offers scenic views of the desert, hiking trails, and wildlife-spotting opportunities.
